Debating Union

A special lecture on “Moral Values: Need of the Hour” was organized on 28^th August 2018. Dr. P. Anilkumar delivered a Lecture and highlighted the importance of Moral education to the students today. He said, the present social evils can be eliminated through moral education only so that a better society is established. Prof. Syed Yusuf Hussaini HOD Arabic, presided over the programme. He too stressed the need for moral education in today’s education system. Prof.S.S.Doulatkoti Chairman Debating Union Welcomed and introduced the dignitaries. Miss Naheda Afroz, G.S. Proposed vote of thanks. Programme was compeered by Dr.I.G.Ruqqia.

Guest lecture

Guest lecture on “job opportunities for B.Sc. Statistics” was organised by Department of statistics  on 25th Aug 2018. Dr. Vasanth Kumari Asst. Prof. Department of Augricultral Statistics Augricultre College  Vijayapur was the guest speaker for the for the function.

Department of English (U.G/P.G) Organised a seminar on the eve of Ismat Chugtai’s birth, On this Occasion, both students and staff recounted contributions of Ismat Chugtai to the field of Urdu literature.

 

One Day Workshop

 

The one day workshop was organized on “Website development” was organized by innoovatum.com in collaboration with Science Forum of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and PG Studies in English Vijayapur, on 19th Aug 2018 at 9:00am to 6:00pm. The workshop was inaugurated by  chief Guest Pratap S Solupur, Incubation centre, Regional co-ordinator, P.G Halkatti Engineering college Vijayapur and resource persons Showkat Ahamed Kotwal, CEO, Innoovatum.com and Abdul Rahim Sutar, CTO, Innoovatum.com Vijayapur, Smt. S.G.Mahaldar, President and Principal of Anjuman Degree College Vijayapur. The workshop was attended by 350 participants from various places. All participants who attended this workshop were students, research, scholars and faculty members from various colleges (B. Sc , BCA, M. Sc , Engineering & Medical).  The one day intensive website development and hosting workshop aims to bring 500-1000 participants (technologists, software developers, student’s fresher’s and faculty) Under one platform to create an enthusiastic web development technology atmosphere inspire and rejuvenate the entrepreneurial spirit in every student and professionals.

Dept. of Commerce Organised Debate

Debate by the students on the topic “Growing Intolerance in India” Introductory address by Prof.Sayed Wajid Peerzade Head Dept of Commerce & Computer Science and IQAC Director Special address by Firoz Rozindar, Special Correspondent The Hindu Newspaper. The debate was organised by Commerce forum.

 

Independence Day Celebration 2018

Prof. Smt. S.G. Mahaldar , Principal of the college hoisted the Flag on the eve of Independence Day. She addressed the staff and students and extended greetings on the 72^nd  Independence Day.

Inauguration of the science forum activities

“Inauguration of the science forum activities” 2018-19 was conducted on 31/7/2018  Dr. I S. Katgeri Associate Director of research RARS Vijayapur was the chief guest for the function  Smt. S.G. Mahaldar principal of Anjuman Degree college preside over the function and all the science staff and students were present  in the function.
