Our NSS units Celebrated 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose which is also celebrated as Parakrama Diwas today.


NSS units of our college in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra and Red Ribbon Club Vijayapur organised Blood Donation Camp today in the College campus on 20th January 2021. Dr. Suma Mamdapur Blood Bank Medical Officer District Hospital Vijayapur expressed her views regarding the significance of donating blood, Shri Rahul S Dongre, District Youth Officer Nehru Yuva Kendra Vijayapur highlighted on the activities of NYK and its benefits. Dr. A N Chattarki Principal of our college opined that the youths are the torchbearers of the society and participation of the youths in such activities will help the nation could favour the spread of healthy lifestyles and contribute to the development of a mature, responsible civic culture. 15 Volunteers donated their blood for the noble cause.
The event was inaugurated by Dr.Suma Mamdapur, Shri.Rahul Dongre, Dr.A N Chattarki. Dr. Ruqqia Hashmi-NSS Programme Officer welcomed and introduced the guests, Mr. Md. Ziya Aralimatti General Secretary of Students Union proposed the vote of thanks, Miss. Ruman recited Verses of the Holy Quran, Miss Mahanawaz Rampure read the Naat-e- shareef, Miss Rukmini & Mr. Hassan Patel sang the NSS song, Miss Anam Salutagi hosted the event. Dr. S J Jahagirdar NSS Programme Officer also graced the event with his presence. All the NSS volunteers actively participated and made the event successful.



Celebrated International Hindi Day on 12th January 2021 by the Department of Hindi. The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. Amarnath Prajapati (Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Hindi, Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University Vijayapur. program was presided by the our beloved Principal Dr. A. N. Chattarki. All the faculty of the dept. of Hindi & students were presented.


NSS units Celebrated 158th Birth Anniversary of Youth icon Swami Vivekanand today on 12th January 2021 which is also celebrated as National Youth Day.Dr.A.N.Chattarki spoke on the role of youths in nation building. Dr. Ruqqia R H NSS Programme Officer and volunteers were present.

Our NSS volunteers bagged 3rd prize in HIV AIDS Prevention Awareness competition organised by RRC and NYK Vijayapur under the guidance of Dr Ruqqia Hashmi NSS Programme Officer.

Department of Statistics of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and P.G. Studies in English, Vijayapur organised one day State level Statistics Faculty workshop under IQAC on “Quantitative Techniques in Research” in collaboration with BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College Vijayapur on 31st Dec. 2020 from 9-30 a.m. to 5-30 p.m.
Dr. U. S. Pujeri Vice principal, & NAAC Co-ordinator, BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College, Vijayapur, in his inaugural address highlighted the importance of statistics & data analysis in the field of research.
Key note Speaker Dr. U. K. Kulkarni Asso. Prof. Dept. Of Studies in education and Research, KSAMU, Vijayapur presented a topic “Quantitative Techniques in Research” and explained about types of data, scales & tests which will be used in research.
Dr. A. N. Chatarki , Principal and President of the workshop appreciated efforts of the team that organised state level workshop & address the participants about the importance of workshops in teaching carrier and by attending the workshops they can develop their teaching skills and professional relationships.
Prof (Smt.) S. M. Hanchinal HOD of Statistics,Programme co-ordinator welcomed & introduced the guests. Ingural session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. H. M. Mujavar HOD of statistics & organising Secretary of the workshop BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College Vijayapur
In I Session Dr. S. B. Madagi, Former Registrar ( evaluation) KSAMU Vijayapur, spoke on “Innovative Teaching Techniques in Statistics “and stressed to clear the basic concepts of statistics to the students and to use more applications relating to real life situations in teaching.
II Session was interactive Session. In this organising committee members decided to form District level and Sate level Statistics teachers Association. 35 delegates from various places participated in this workshop. The Workshop ended with formal Valedictory function.
