Mr. Sachin Rathod of BA V Sem got selected as University Blue in Hockey (Men) and Miss. Shivani Rathod of BA V Sem University Blue in Hockey (Women). they will be representing the RCUB Hockey team, and the tournament is to be held at Manglore University, Mangluru.

An awareness programme on Crime Prevention Month 2021 was organised by the NSS Units and Ladies Forum of our college in collaboration with Gol Gumbaz Police Station, Vijayapur on 23rd December 2021. Shri Sitaram Lamani- Police Sub Inspector (PSI) of Golgumbaz Police Station Vijayapur who was the Chief Guest spoke at length on the different crimes taking place in the society both physical and online.
He opined the cybercrime involves cell phones, computers, and the network. Threatening, online transactions, random friends’ requests, updating KYC messages, online customer care services are some of the examples.
A unified Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) is implemented in Karnataka which provides 112 emergency services in a fast and efficient ways. Each vehicle allotted will have ASI, Head Constable, Constable and Woman Police Constable. ERSS tracks the location of the victims and provide immediate assistance within 15-17 minutes.
He also pointed out the significance of the use of helmet by all 2-wheeler users as well as the pillion riders. Wearing helmet is effective in reducing head injuries, it protects one’s life.
Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade, IQAC Co-ordinator welcomed the gathering and introduced the creditable guest Shri. Sitaram Lamani.

The function was hosted by Mr. Zayeem Inamdar BA III Sem, Mr. Aqeeb Shaikh BA III Sem initiated the programme by reciting few verses of the Holy Quran. The Crime Prevention Awareness Programme concluded by singing of the National Anthem.

Department Of Mathematics celebrated “NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY & FELICITATION TO MERITORIOUS STUDENTS ” on 22/12/2021.Dr M H Muddebihal, Retired Professor of Gulbarga University, Gulbarga was the Chief Guest.The program was hosted by Guest Faculty Miss Tanzeela Jahagirdar. Miss Afshan Mariyam Bsc 5th sem initiated the function with recitation of the verses of Holy Quran and Naat by Rumana Qadri Bsc 5th Sem.Dr U A Panforsh H.o.D of Mathematics welcomed and introduced the Chief Guest.Alumnis who secured highest marks were felicitated and a cash prize of Rs/- 2000 each was given to Miss RuksarJatt,Miss Sahana Naaz Junedi andMiss Dawalbi Nadaf for securing highest marks in Mathematics. Also Miss Sahana Naaz Junedi was Awarded with cash prize of Rs/- 5000 for securing 5th Rank to RCUB.Chief Guest Dr M H Muddebihal addressed the gathering, Dr.A.N.Chattarki, Principal of our college presided over the function. He highlighted about the contributions of Sri Srinavasa Ramananujan.Miss Seema Inamdar Bsc 5th sem proposed the Vote of Thanks. Staff and students of Dept of Mathematics were present.

Miss Rizwana Jamadar, Miss Afreen Kazi and Mr Aqeeb Shaikh participated in the District Level Declamation Contest as part of Republic Day Celebrations 2022 today-15th December 2021 at Nehru Yuva Kendra Vijayapur, in which Miss Rizwana Jamadar and Miss Afreen Kazi secured 1st n 2nd place respectively. Kudos to the winners and participant Mr Aqeeb Shaikh mentored by Dr Ruqqia Hashmi NSS Program Officer.

Department of Statistics organised online Symposium on “Statistics Syllabus –NEP 2020” in collaboration with Janata Shikshan Sangha’s STC Arts, Commerce, BBA, BCA, BSc College, PG and Research Centre, Banahatti on 13th Dec 2021 at 4 p.m. to 6-00 p.m.
