One day State Level Statistics Faculty Workshop On “Quantitative Techniques in Research”

          Department of Statistics of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and P.G. Studies in English, Vijayapur organised one day State level Statistics Faculty workshop under IQAC on “Quantitative Techniques in Research” in collaboration with BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College Vijayapur on 31st Dec. 2020 from 9-30 a.m. to 5-30 p.m.

Dr. U. S. Pujeri Vice principal, & NAAC Co-ordinator, BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College, Vijayapur, in his inaugural address highlighted the importance of statistics & data analysis in the field of research.

Key note Speaker Dr. U. K. Kulkarni Asso. Prof.   Dept. Of Studies in education and Research, KSAMU, Vijayapur   presented a topic “Quantitative Techniques in Research”  and explained about types of data, scales & tests which will  be used  in  research.

Dr. A. N. Chatarki , Principal and President of the workshop appreciated efforts of the team that organised state level workshop & address the participants about the importance of workshops in teaching carrier and by attending the workshops they can develop their teaching skills and professional relationships.

Prof (Smt.) S. M. Hanchinal HOD of Statistics,Programme co-ordinator welcomed &  introduced  the guests. Ingural session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. H. M. Mujavar HOD of statistics & organising Secretary of the workshop BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College Vijayapur

In I Session Dr. S. B. Madagi, Former Registrar ( evaluation) KSAMU Vijayapur, spoke on “Innovative Teaching Techniques in Statistics “and stressed to clear the basic concepts of statistics to the students and to use more applications relating to real life situations   in teaching.

II Session was interactive Session. In this organising committee members decided to form District level and Sate level Statistics teachers Association. 35 delegates from various places participated in this workshop.  The Workshop ended with formal Valedictory function.
