Role of Teacher in Personality Development

On the eve of Teachers Day a guest lecture was arranged on the topic “Role of Teacher in Personality Development” Prof. A. M. Lingdalli, former Head Dept. of Mathematics of our college delivered a Special Lecture on the importance of Teacher in over all development of students. Principal Smt. S.G.Mahaldar Presided over, Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade IQAC Director, Vice Principal A.B.Shaikh, Debate Union Chairman Prof. S.S.Doulatkoti expressed their views on the topic. Students Representative Miss.Nahida was also present.

Ladies forum Report of symposium

 

The symposium was organized on ““Role & Responsibilities of Girl Students in Everyday Life”. by Ladies Forum of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and PG Studies in English Vijayapur, on 15^th Sep 2018 at 12:00 p m Dr. Heena Kotwal BDS (MDS) Vijayapur was the chief Guest. 15 students participated in the speech competition on the topic““Role & Responsibilities of Girl Students in Everyday Life”. Prizes are given to first three best participants Dr. Heena Kotwal mam address the gathering. All the lady staff members and students attended the function. Following are the prize winners.

Flood Relief Fund

Handing over financial aid collected by our Students for the flood victims of Kerala and Kodugu to the Deputy Commissioner of Bijapur Sri.S.B.Shettanavar. Prof.Sayed Wajid Peerzade Director IQAC, along with the students of our college.

 

Students of our college collected financial aid with Rs.10000/- for the Flood Victims of Kerala and Kodugu.

Debating Union

A special lecture on “Moral Values: Need of the Hour” was organized on 28^th August 2018. Dr. P. Anilkumar delivered a Lecture and highlighted the importance of Moral education to the students today. He said, the present social evils can be eliminated through moral education only so that a better society is established. Prof. Syed Yusuf Hussaini HOD Arabic, presided over the programme. He too stressed the need for moral education in today’s education system. Prof.S.S.Doulatkoti Chairman Debating Union Welcomed and introduced the dignitaries. Miss Naheda Afroz, G.S. Proposed vote of thanks. Programme was compeered by Dr.I.G.Ruqqia.

Guest lecture

Guest lecture on “job opportunities for B.Sc. Statistics” was organised by Department of statistics  on 25th Aug 2018. Dr. Vasanth Kumari Asst. Prof. Department of Augricultral Statistics Augricultre College  Vijayapur was the guest speaker for the for the function.

Dept. of English

Department of English (U.G/P.G) Organised a seminar on the eve of Ismat Chugtai’s birth, On this Occasion, both students and staff recounted contributions of Ismat Chugtai to the field of Urdu literature.

 

One Day Workshop

 

The one day workshop was organized on “Website development” was organized by innoovatum.com in collaboration with Science Forum of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and PG Studies in English Vijayapur, on 19th Aug 2018 at 9:00am to 6:00pm. The workshop was inaugurated by  chief Guest Pratap S Solupur, Incubation centre, Regional co-ordinator, P.G Halkatti Engineering college Vijayapur and resource persons Showkat Ahamed Kotwal, CEO, Innoovatum.com and Abdul Rahim Sutar, CTO, Innoovatum.com Vijayapur, Smt. S.G.Mahaldar, President and Principal of Anjuman Degree College Vijayapur. The workshop was attended by 350 participants from various places. All participants who attended this workshop were students, research, scholars and faculty members from various colleges (B. Sc , BCA, M. Sc , Engineering & Medical).  The one day intensive website development and hosting workshop aims to bring 500-1000 participants (technologists, software developers, student’s fresher’s and faculty) Under one platform to create an enthusiastic web development technology atmosphere inspire and rejuvenate the entrepreneurial spirit in every student and professionals.
