“Workshop by Dept. of Statistics”
The workshop on “Basic Data Analysis” was organized by dept of statistics of Anjuman Degree College on 11/2/2019 from 3pm to 5 pm. The workshop was inaugurated by the resource person Riyaz Ahmad Kalburgi statistican / Asst Prof. Shree Siddhartha medical College Tumkur and principal Smt. S . G. Mahaldar HOD of statistics Smt. S M. Hanchinal and the workshop was attended by more than 30 students of statistics department.
In this workshop Prof Riyaz Kalburgi give the theoretical knowledge about the methods of data analysis and also hands on training of different techniques of data analysis.

“Self Defence Certificate Course”
In order to combat the burgeoning crimes against women in society, A “Self Defence Certificate Course” was conducted under the able guidance of NSS Program Officer Dr(Smt)Ruqqia from 3rd February 2019 to 9th February 2019 with an aim to make the girls fearless and walk around freely. Ms.Indra- Karate Master was the trainer who equipped the girls with techniques of self defence. Self defence is empowering the girls, it teaches awareness and prevention, this is something that will actually make a monumental, positive change in the lives of the students. Around 35 girl students underwent the training with full dedication.
