International Webinar on Intellectual Property Rights, jointly organized by, IQAC, CSIBER Kolhapur and IQAC, Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce and P.G. Studies in English, Vijayapura (Karnataka).
One day international webinar on “Intellectual Property Rights” (IPR) was jointly organized by the above-mentioned educational institutions, on 31-08-2021.
The inaugural address was presented by Dr. T.V.G. Sarma IQAC Co-ordinator, CSIBER Kolhapur and Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade, IQAC Co-ordinator, Anjuman Degree College, Vijayapura. Dr. Raghavendra Angara, Ph.D, University of Maryland, USA addressed the participants on the topic “Overview of IPR perspective from U.S.A from 10-30 am to 11-30 am. Dr. C. D. Lokhande, M.Sc, Ph.D, Research Director and Resource Person who addressed the participants on the topic “IPR: Indian Perspective, from 11-45 to 12-45 pm. Vote of thanks for the first session was presented by Dr. Ruqqia Hashmi and Prof. Gulbahar Killedar, (Faculty, Anjuman Degree College, Vijayapura) presented the vote of thanks for the second session. From 1-45 to 3-45 pm. Ten research papers on IPR were presented by different participants from various part of the country. From 3-45 to 4 pm. there was a session for question and answer. From 4 to 4-30 Valedictory addressed was presented by Dr. C. S. Dalvi, Director, CSIBER and Dr. A. N. Chattarki, Principal Anjuman College, Vijayapura.
In all there were 70 participants nationally and internationally and both the educational institutions have a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for exchange of academic activities. The research articles shall be published in a journal. The webinar was conducted online mode through Google Meet platform.
Department of Statistics of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and P.G. Studies in English, Vijayapur organised one day online Statistics Faculty Workshop under IQAC on “Syllabus framing –National Education Policy -2020” in collaboration with Janata Shikshan Sangha’s STC Arts, Commerce, BBA, BCA, BSc College, PG and Research Centre, Banahatti on 14th July 2021 at 4 p.m. to 6-00 p.m.

Dr. Prakash Kengnal Asst. Prof. & programme co-ordinator, STC College, Banahatti, presented a topic on “National Education Policy-2020”. He explained briefly features of NEP & highlighted two elective papers “Generic Elective Course (GEC)” and Skill Enhanced Course (SEC)” for syllabus framing.
25 faculty members from different Colleges were actively participated in this workshop and presented their views regarding syllabus for two elective papers.
The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. H. M. Mujavar, HOD of statistics & BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College Vijayapur.
With the cooperation of District Administration, Vijayapur, Dept of Health , Govt of Karnataka, Youth Red Cross and active participation of NSS unit and NCC, On 1st July 2021,the Staff members and the students of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College & PG Studies in English Vijayapur got inoculated with Corona Vaccine. As per the guidelines of Govt.of Karnataka, vaccination for Staff and students is mandatory for future engagements of educational institutions. Dr. A.N. Chattarki, Principal of the College addressed the gathering and reiterated the importance of vaccination and SOPs to be followed and Dr. Zeenat Mushrif, District Health Officer, Vijayapur led the medical team for vaccination.
The one day online state level workshop on “Data Analysis using MS Excel was jointly organized by dept. of Statistics and Economics. On 17th June 202,1at 10 am to 12 pm, due to pandemic disease spread all over the globe it is need of the hour to organize such events to learn advanced techniques and tools.
Dr. A.N.Chattarki, Principal of our college in his inaugural address explained the significance and importance of the Data Analysis. Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade, IQAC Coordinator welcomed and introduced the guests. Resource person of this workshop Dr. Prakash Kengnal, Asst. Prof in Statistics, STC College, Banhatti guided the participants how to analyze the data using MS Excel with basic theoretical background ( Descriptive Statistics, correlation and regression, students tests and variance ratio test)
1600 participants ( including students, research scholars and faculty members of various streams from different states) have participated with their full satisfaction in this workshop.
