            The Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College & PG Studies in English, Vijayapur, Celebrated 70th Republic Day in the college. Prof.Smt.S.G.Mahaldar Principal of the college hoisted the flag and addressed the staff, students, NSS volunteer and the NCC Cadets on the eve of 70th Republic Day.

Arts and Com College for women, Vijayapur on 24/01/2019.

“One Day Multi-Disciplinary District Level Workshop”

            A One Day Multi-Disciplinary District Level UG & PG Students workshop on “Project Based Learning” was organized by Science Forum & Research Committee of Anjuman Degree College, Vijayapur. on 23rd January 2019. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. R. A. Pathan, Rtd. Principal Anjuman Degree College, Vijayapur. He opined the importance of research in the academics and how it helps to students to develop hands on learning technique.

            The first technical session was on “Project Preparation Methodology” resource Person Dr. Bharati Khasnis explained the guidelines of good project that will lead to benefit of the society. The second technical session on “hands on training project preparation” was undertaken by Dr. B. S. Madagi, Finance Officer ASWU, Vijayapur. He explained various techniques on how to carry on the project. Students were given topics and were asked to delve into the research technique. The response of the students was very positive.

            More than 200 students were participated in this workshop and also Students from various colleges form Vijayapur District actively participated in the project based activities. Dr.A. B. Shaikh, Vice Principal, also stressed on the importance of research in academics. Principal Prof. Smt. S. G. Mahaldar, Research Committee chairman Dr. A. M. Raydurg, and other faculty members were present Prof. Smt. Sm. M. Hanchinal Welcomed the gathering, Miss. Akhashata proposed vote of thanks.

            “Hire Mee” Association of Online Recruitment has conducted candidates online assessment progamme for online Recruitment in our college on 19th Jan 2019. More than hundred students were assessed and registered their names for recruitment.

            One Day National Seminar on “Karnataka Ka Sher-o-Adab Azadi ke Baad” Jointly organised by Dept. of Urdu Anjuman Arts, Science & Commerce College, Vijayapur & Karnataka Urdu Academy Bangalore. On 16th January 2019. The Seminar, was inaugurated by President of Anjuman-E-Islam Syed Sha Mahemood Peeran Peerzade Al Hashmi. Key Note address delivered by Prof. Abdur Rab Ustad, HOD Gulabarga University, Gulabarga. Principal Smt. S. G. Mahaldar Presided over the programme, Dr. A. B. Shaikh Vice Principal, Co-Ordinator Dr. Syed Aleemullah Hussaini, Secretary Prof. S. S. Doulatkoti were present.

Celebration of National Youth Day-2019

The NSS units of Anjuman Degree College celebrated National Youth Day-the 156th Birth Anniversary of Swa mi Vivekananda on 12th January 2019. Shri.Narayan.Babanagar (Recipient of Best Teacher National Award from CNR Rao Foundation) Govt Jr. College for Boys Vijayapur was the Chief Guest. He opined that the youths should  explore their talents and channelise their energies towards building a strong and developed nation with due regards to its rich culture and traditions. Prof.A.A.Nasar Administrator of ADC advised the volunteers to dedicate themselves towards building a better tomorrow. NSS Program Officers, Prof.M.A Peeran and Dr(Smt) Ruqqia, NSS Leaders Km.Abusami.Nagdekar, Kumari Shehnaz Sayyed and other volunteers actively  participated.
