Workshop on Data analysis using MS-Excel

The one day online state level workshop on “Data Analysis using MS Excel was jointly organized by dept. of Statistics and Economics. On 17th June 202,1at 10 am to 12 pm, due to pandemic disease spread all over the globe it is need of the hour to organize such events to learn advanced techniques and tools.

Dr. A.N.Chattarki, Principal of our college in his inaugural address explained the significance and importance of the Data Analysis. Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade, IQAC Coordinator welcomed and introduced the guests. Resource person of this workshop Dr. Prakash Kengnal, Asst. Prof in Statistics, STC College, Banhatti guided the participants how to analyze the data using MS Excel with basic theoretical background ( Descriptive Statistics, correlation and regression, students tests and variance ratio test)

1600 participants ( including students, research scholars and faculty members of various streams from different states) have participated with their full satisfaction in this workshop.

With the joint efforts of Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade, Prof. Smt. S.M.Hanchinal, Program Coordinator, Prof SIS Rozindar Hameed Organizing Secretary and Prof. S.M. Hattarkihal, faculty Dept. of Economics organised this workshop by our esteemed institution.

ONE DAY MULTIDISCIPLINARY NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “CONTEMPORARY TRENDS AND CONCEPTS IN SOCIAL SCIENCE/SCIENCE/COMMERCE AND LINGUISTICS”

A One Day Multidisciplinary National Conference was organized under aegis of Research committee (an IQAC initiative) on 20-02-2021 by our college.
The Conference was inaugurated by Dr. J. F. Patil, Retired Professor of Economics Shivaji University, Kolhapur. In his inaugural speech, he stressed on various aspects of research and provided valuable data. Dr. Ruqqia Hashmi- Conference Coordinator delivered keynote address on behalf of Dr. J. V. L. Sarma in his absence, another Resource Person- Dr. S. S. Suryavanshi of Solapur University, Solapur spoke on “An Era of Nanomaterials” and Resource Person Dr. Shruti Tambe of Pune University, Pune addressed gathering online.
Dr. A. N. Chattarki Principal, delivered the Presidential Address. The Conference initiated with recitation of Holy Quran by Prof. Sayed Kaleemullah Basheban, Naath by Prof. A. M. Siddagi, Prof.Syed Wajid Peerzade introduced the guests. The Inaugural function concluded with Vote of Thanks by Dr. M. G. Ghodesawar.
On this historic occassion, Volume I of the Journal of Published articles was released by the dignatories.
In post lunch, technical session was chaired by Dr. Md. Afzal, Principal of SECAB’s ARS Inamdar Arts, Science & Commerce College for Women, Vijayapur. Various participants presented their respective papers including Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade of Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College & PG Studies in English, Vijayapur who spoke on Economic and Taxation of Imam Ali the technical session concluded with remarks of Dr. Md. Afzal. 159 participated in the seminar.

Soft Skills & Communication Skills

Fifteen students of B.Com VI semester has completed 15 days course for Soft Skills & Communication Skills from 2nd March 2021 to 16th March 2021. The course was organised with involvement of ASPIRE SPIRIT Institution which is located in Vijayapur only and has ISO certification. The completed students certificates are attached to this post.

Inauguration of Science Forum 8-2-2021

Under IQAC initiative,Inauguration of Science Forum, Youth Red Cross Cell’ & Wel- Come to Freshers was organized on 8th February 2021 at Allama Iqbal Hall Of our College at 11.30 am. Dr. Smt. Channamma Katti, Microbiologist, Health Dept., Vijayapur, Karnatak was the chief guest, she inaugurated and spoke on the Awareness of COVID-19 Awareness, Dr. A. N. Chattarki, Principal of our college presided over the programme. Dr. Saleem M. Desai, Secretary of Science Forum introduced and Wel- come the gathering, Prof. P. Shaikshavali, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. M. A. Gadyal, IQAC Co-ordinator, Prof. Khalid Nishani, Treasurer of Science forum, 15 teaching staff and 150 students attended the programme. Miss. Saba Hundekar of B.Sc. Vth Sem & Miss. Farahnaaz Sangapur of B. Sc. III sem Compered the programme.

Inaugural of Ladies Forum Activities 4-2-2021

Activities of Ladies Forum for the academic year 2020-21 was inaugurated by Smt. Nirmala Surpur CDPO Vijayapur. Dr. Ruqqia Hashmi chairperson of Ladies Forum delivered the Presidential address. Ms. Ameena Gen Sec’ry of Ladies Forum proposed the vote of thanks.

Blood Donation Camp

NSS units of our college in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra and Red Ribbon Club Vijayapur organised Blood Donation Camp today in the College campus on 20th January 2021. Dr. Suma Mamdapur Blood Bank Medical Officer District Hospital Vijayapur expressed her views regarding the significance of donating blood, Shri Rahul S Dongre, District Youth Officer Nehru Yuva Kendra Vijayapur highlighted on the activities of NYK and its benefits. Dr. A N Chattarki Principal of our college opined that the youths are the torchbearers of the society and participation of the youths in such activities will help the nation could favour the spread of healthy lifestyles and contribute to the development of a mature, responsible civic culture. 15 Volunteers donated their blood for the noble cause.
The event was inaugurated by Dr.Suma Mamdapur, Shri.Rahul Dongre, Dr.A N Chattarki. Dr. Ruqqia Hashmi-NSS Programme Officer welcomed and introduced the guests, Mr. Md. Ziya Aralimatti General Secretary of Students Union proposed the vote of thanks, Miss. Ruman recited Verses of the Holy Quran, Miss Mahanawaz Rampure read the Naat-e- shareef, Miss Rukmini & Mr. Hassan Patel sang the NSS song, Miss Anam Salutagi hosted the event. Dr. S J Jahagirdar NSS Programme Officer also graced the event with his presence. All the NSS volunteers actively participated and made the event successful.
